Somatic therapy?

Somatic therapy is a body-based approach to healing that gently brings your attention to what is happening within. Rather than analysing or pushing through, we slow down and notice sensation, breath, and nervous system responses. Over time, this supports your body to rediscover safety and build trust within itself. From that foundation, you are better resourced to meet the bigger experiences and patterns that may have once felt overwhelming.
Trauma-informed?

Being trauma-informed means recognising that patterns of tension, anxiety, disconnection, or shutdown are not signs that something is wrong with you. They are intelligent adaptations your nervous system developed in order to survive. A trauma-informed approach moves at the pace of safety. We do not force, relive, or override your system. Instead, we create the conditions where your body can feel supported enough to witness what is present, feel what has been held, and gently integrate what is ready to shift.
What I do

One-to-one sessions offer a confidential and compassionate space to slow down and notice what is true for you right now. Together, we gently turn toward what feels stuck, overwhelming, or hard to name. Through trauma-informed somatic work, survival patterns can begin to soften, allowing your body to rediscover safety, steadiness, and a more connected way of being.

I work with anyone who feels aligned with this space, yet I feel a particular call to support mothers, who are too often expected to cope in silence. Alongside shorter guidance-based individual sessions, I am developing group spaces and would love to collaborate with others passionate about supporting mothers together.

Nervous System Nourishment FOR MUMS is an introduction to what the nervous system is and why Motherhood is so dysregulating. Designed for groups, organisations, and community spaces, these workshops offer a practical introduction to how the nervous system shapes stress, connection, and performance. Participants leave with simple, accessible tools to support regulation, resilience, and wellbeing in everyday life.
